It'll be interesting to see how this goes and if it leads to further innovation. Plenty of brilliant ideas in our sport, plenty of dead ends. Sometimes things are just right - best ( pretty old ) example was the introduction of clamp-on booms- the word " inhaul" disappeared overnight or so it seemed. We will see if some aspects of this take off ( and no that's not a Mistral pun).
