An alternative windsurfing venue during the construction period could be the public land adjacent to Royal Qld Yacht Squadron, accessed by the road adjacent to the yacht trailer park. I have sailed here on a number of occassions in NE and SE winds. Remember having to take a bit of a walk with gear during low tide. Rigging area not as good as Trafalgar St and limited car parking at end of road.

Got news for ya Flashman. That area is getting "developed" soon too. As in land filled for RQ/ Port expansion....

Don't assume all development is bad! Fairly sure they are turning that area into a dinghy launch beach to counter the **** sailing experience that is the Manly boat harbour - so it could turn out well for us... But I guess that depends on whether or not they fence it off, which the probably will...
