That legacy sail in the Pic looks great Jeff, never seen one in the flesh..looks great value for the $$
We're booked in for Noosa North Shore for Friday 16th to Sunday 25th but I'm negotiating a venue change to Elanda Point and we'll go to North Shore another time. I'll keep you and Jeff posted.
Hi Jeff,
We'll be at Elanda for a week during the holidays. Exact dates depend on the wind reports, so see you up there,
Tim
What are the wind possibilities? is it too early for north easterlies around that time? I'm overdue for a break and a 10 hour road trip to do nothing but sail for a week
Works in most directions and normally get a few good days in a row up there.
I was up there a bit before most of the crew last year and had a bit of everything. Needed something smaller than I took on the first day and had a play on my SUP on the last.
Last years fun and games here www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Windsurfing/Queensland/September-school-hols-Cootharaba/?page=1.
I am probably going to be there in the last week. Looking forward to it.
We'll be there. Not sure which week. The kids really look forward to going. Will have the beginners gear and depending on the conditions we can do some kids sailing in the mornings.
I just checked the dance card, I'm taking five days out of a three week house sit at Vicci point to be with you usual suspects, is that irony or what!!!!
I wouldn't give these guys any ammunition if I whir you John.
All sorts of nastines culled starte, who nows were it mite furnish?
We will be there from the middle weekend. Cassie and Ainslie looking forward to the new windsup.
Can't wait!
My OCD is flipping out over the spelling of roll right now, I'll get over it by beer o'clock.
I think you'll find it is spelt correctly, just saying
We're all sorted now Morgs, we're heading up on Friday the 16th to beat the rush and we'll come back home over the middle weekend sometime. I messaged Jeff over the weekend to let him know.
Taking a leaf out of Paddles' book and am arriving on the 15th for five days to get an even BETTER spot
at point Jeffery
These holidays we're heading to Fraser Island but looking forward to our Christmas holiday at Jeffrey Point.
Looks like l am in. Have booked Monday to Friday off work. My son Mat has a camp on now but wants to join me for a couple of nights also. Naturally that will entail bringing the trail bikes up also for the light wind back up plan to explore the tracks toward kin kin. If anyone else is considering the same or has local knowledge let us know please.
We're on a family holiday right over the school hols, so won't get to Elanda, but will think of you guys and ... have a great time!
I have been drumming up a bit of interest with co- workers at the airport in taking up the challenge of learning to windsurf. Many of us have split shifts and nudgee beach is close but relies on high tides and can be lumpy or too cross shore for total beginners. Nor can I bring much gear at once not being allowed to park my trailer in the staff car park. The lake being ideal I was hoping fellow sailors may be able to offer a hand with learner gear and your expertise if I point them our way via this forum. None will be able to book holidays short notice but a small number would be prepared to juggle a shift or day or two for the opportunity to learn.
I will only be there by the 24th until the 30th but also have a late night shift sun 25th. I will bring what I can but am already bringing my son and his friend who I am keen to teach also. Nor is kiting something I have any experience in .... Yet!!! All free spirited honest fun loving people like urselves that would appreciate and reciprocate to any positive response they may view in forums and the one I intend to start for NUDGEE BEACH WINDSHIFTERS in the near future.
Thanks Crew.
@jv
I'll have my beginner gear available from tue/wed of the first week all way through to long weekend
Looking forward to helping out
Cheers Jeff
Ps Are your friends able to make it to Weyba for the social day next Sunday?

The best forum post I've seen on SB for a while, good on you mate! Enjoy your time on the water
Great to hear JVJohnnie - this Sunday Wind Wanderers are having their September meet at Lake Wyeba on the Sunny coast - bring as many mates as you can - I too have asked a few work colleagues who have expressed interest in learning to windsurf I have asked to come along. I will be there for sure
RQ also has a learn to sail get together on Saturday mornings for those who can make it - another great opportunity to join up with like minded windsurfers of all ages and levels and learn. Cameron usually posts on Seabreeze Fridays for that each week.
Simon from Boardcrazy should be running some clinics through the season - usually does with gear and expertise.
Getting to Cootharaba a great way to mingle with and pick up pointers from sailors from all levels Jeff brings a lot of learner gear for all to use just catch up with Jeff when you get there - he is easy to find just look for the 17 boards in a row and he wont be far away (you the man Jeff).
We are all happy to help with some advice (not that we are experts - most of us are still learning) so come and say Hi
Cheers
Morgs
Thanks Crew.
