Dan how was the new sail? Bill looked to be going good.
Yeah I like it - nice & light in the hands.
Bill will get the hang of it - he's on the journey ![]()
5.7 Saturday & solid 5.0 blast today, hopefully a good start to a great season heading our way.
Good to hear B, good test for the foot. Same down here nudging high 20's. Devil wind creates a short swell, tricky of the beach. Lots of whales.
Go team blue-sails! The moon shot is a beauty
thanks mate, I wanted to get a shot of you guys with the moon really low on the horizon and big begin you, alas the salt spray and smog meant the moon wasn't even visible until quite high, will try again another day. I have seen it low on the horizon during sailing, probably a 15 knot day.

Haven't seen a moon shot that impressive since the last time Haggar was getting changed at the beach ![]()

How is it in NNE
What tide best for some jumping? Is it starboard tack in a NE???? Looks like it from those pics
The waves flattern once the wind moves round to the NNE, best in a NE. Its wind chop so the higher the wind the bigger the chop.
Tide isn't hugely important, there is a bombie a few hundred metres out that gives the foilers grief and could be an issue at ultra low tide with a large fin. It's a port tack out, left arm forward.
Nice Dan. How was the three-oh?
Oh Boy, it was so weird because I'd never foiled it before. I normally just rig it for the kids on the Sup.
Turned out to be very effective - except for water starts - only 1/10 ![]()
Top drawer Dan!
Agreed. A fantastic day . 6 knots more than predicted ![]()
Fri-Mon, 4 days consecutive sailing. Looking outside I don't think there's much chance today. Pretty glad I finished the storm water additions around the house!
And we are all pretty knackered after 3-4 days... can only imagine how tough it would be having to get through this forecast with no end in sight.

I'd adapt.
