1st time at LP yesterday. Launch spot looks like an unused boat ramp. Need to be careful with the rocks and reef on the way out and in. Not too friendly for the inexperienced like myself but the others seemed to be enjoying themselves when the gusts came through.

After packing up, I drove to Yarra Bay sailing club, not far from LP. There were 4 sailors putting rigs away who were out on the water earlier. Nice beach for the launch . Next time in a westerly I might give it a go, looked better than LP.

There was a guy sailing the bommie off Queensclif on Saturday, looked like it was pretty good!

Doyou mean Queenscliff at Manly beach (nth side)?
There was a contingent of the old guard making Long reef Bombie look like a playground early Sat - some nice mast high sets coming through but pretty light on the inside
