had a work colleague sailor (boat) who lives on river suggest have a look at
Rutherford Reserve, Burraneer Pt at the end of Woolaware Rd.

said had grassed area down to rocks?? May save long trip around.

And as Andrew's photos show - it's not a tide dependent sandbar

Your work colleague is pulling your leg...

There is a nice grassed rigging area however you have to carry you gear down a dirt track then jump off a rock ledge which is 50meters above sea level.
