If today was any indication then tomorrow should be a ripper. ![]()
Forecast is still 25-33 NE and building throughout the evening. ![]()

Please advise the score keeper that you are racing, preferably well before race start and be at the beach, ready to sail, for the 5pm briefing.
The graph on Seabreeze is pretty much the diametric opposite to what we want for Wednesday..... Fingers crossed, but it ain't looking too good right now ![]()
The NEr did happen but all too late, it's seems to be up to the forecast level now (10pm).
So the race didn't happen but it wasn't too bad a sail on the 7.8m, flat water made it easy to get planing and the gusts were good.
Who do we blame for jinxing it this time. I think Andrew - Sick em rex, he turned up for his first race tonight.
All primed, small sails and boards in wagon and ready but nothing happened. On the northside it was pretty much dead calm until after dark.
I agree with Des, Andrew is the new Chuckles![]()
yeah yeah yeah blame me
BUT if you check yesterdays wind graphs you'll see that at almost the precise minute I finally hit the water, 7:15, all these green arrows started to appear ![]()
So I think the real losers yesterday were all those guys that came and saw and went home again not having faith in the Huey to deliver. I had a great blast for a solid half hour and there were STILL 2 guys out at 8:00 when I left.
The only downside???? I didn't get a 1hr speed on my gps for the challenge ![]()
ahh yeah, I know now. I remember your wife ![]()
Tim, it doesn't look like you have left a good impression ![]()
What time are you going out tomorrow?
Hi team, unfortunately no race scheduled for this week. ![]()
I have other commitments I must attend to....no not work
. Other windsurfing commitments, heading off to the Mambo Classic.![]()
Thursday is looking good, so for those that are keen you can try some casual drag racing. Beach to far Buoy to beach, a few of us did it a couple of weeks ago it was fun and the competition was no less intense.
Just got back from the Mambo event and it was good for the first two days but very light for the last two ( a sailboard rig on a SUP was the go for wavesailing) .
And unfortuntely it looks like another crap forecast in Sydney for this week.
What's the go with the weird weather pattern, we should be having regular and solid NE'ers by now.
Needless to say no fun race this week. I'm not even sure how far the black and orange snake has stretched across the bay in the last week, it may be impinging on our race course??
There was a heap of the big snake bound up near the nets on Sat, well enough to prevent cossing the bay if stretched out.![]()
I was kind of hoping we'd get a few months of 25 knot winds, as David's getting into formula now. So I went and bought some small gear. Sorry guys.
I thought the Formula gear purchase would have guarantee'd the sacrifice for 25kts.
:) Still have the speed board though.
Waiting for a good stiff NE to do some runway runs.
Looks like a NEster came in today! Gutted! If I'd of known it had been that good I would have planned to go out. It only predicted about 12 knots on sea breeze. Typical.....
yeah it was a pretty strange day yesterday. i got out about 4 - 4.30pm. it was pretty light untill about 6pm. Some really niice gusts after that with super smooth water to practice gybes. Only Albert, Dinh and myself left on the water. I tried valiantly to catch them but they were too quick for me. Albert esp on his new JP super sport was absolutely flying and Dinh was starting to nail his gybes. We finished up around 7.30pm absolutely stoked & shattered.
