Informal Race, if weather permitting.

2 formats, either race across, 9kms maximum, first to gybe, everyone else gybes at same time, and first back to where we started from.

Other format is 3 gybes, 2 out and one back, this is a bit harder, first option is easier?

Anyone wanna sponsor it? WINDWARRIOR giving away 3 prizes

All ages all standards welcome, we'll have a rescure boat available, let's make this a tradition?

Be there or be rectangular (or whatever that saying is?)

Team vs team, mate vs mate

I'll be there. You just tell me what I have to do and I'll do it - one gybe, three gybes, duck gybes - I don't care!

One suggestion - we could have a "Nautical Mile Off" - ie; everyone can have a couple of mad dashes down the famous Hardies NM and, as long as someone has a laptop at the beach, we can all plug in our GPSs and see how we went for the day. Everyone in the same place at the same time for once.

Mine has gone to the Doctor, so got another one
Talk to Hardie (PM) he can put you onto a chap who will talk a look for you. He has run out of actual's, well had done the other day, but you may luck in.
Have elected to re-seal sandwich pack inside Aqua to prevent a re hash.
And yep I am in, will check other crew.

I'm still there - wind permitting! Another 30 knots like yesterday would do nicely.

Have you decided on a format?

1 Gybe only, first to gybe, everyone follows.

Secondly we could have a go at NM's, if someone brings a laptop??

Wind looks easterly but good enough for a run, still works there.

So people wanna still be in it?

Do we need a rescue boat?

I think the format will be race out, first to gybe rest follows, then first back to where we started.

It is a shame about the cancellation.

The forecast was crap, but it ended up being a good day with the wind blowing quite consistently all day.

Easterlies are normally incredibly bad, don't know what went wrong, but I'm not complaining
