I have a theory as to their absence.
The SRM participation has dropped of since the footy season started.
The Dockers are playing their best season ever (they couldn't really play any worse)
I reckon most of the team have got these games recorded and rush home each night to watch them over and over again
rather than go out sailing.
Being a Weagles supporter like the Elder Statesman of the team we have watched the eagles have some shocking years in the past so we don't need to record them and replay them, we don't even need to watch replays of past grand finals to know the results
So we go out sailing regularly (10 sessions last month best April ever!!!!!)
It's a theory, possibly not a good one, but it's the best I can come up with as to why there is on the Elder posting.

Waiting for a sensible question instead of your usual dribble.
But as it is unlikely that that is to much to be expected, here is your answer

Its been a pretty awesome april if you
a) have big gear
b) dont mind a lot of grovelling and
c) dont live in Perth.
Winter is coming... we'll be back when theres enough wind to do more than 20kts.

DONT READ my post then on the windsurf surper cross topic, if you think it's dribble mate, and all my other post! with the amount of views i get i am sure your the only guy who thinks it's dribble and some other dicks on here..
Laurie please dont kick me off and pull this.. he had a go at me i am just having abit of a go back no need to kick me off for this..
Hows the ribs going Chris?
Hopefully you're starting to mend and will soon be out and about again
At least with the doldrums you don't have the temptation to go for q sneaky sail and end up hurting yourself more.
Got to admit to being saved by a 10.9m sail and 160L board last month which has been great fun buzzing cruising around on![]()
The ribs are fine now... I think most of the pain was caused by the air bubble because I was having trouble (especially lying in bed) for about 2 weeks, and then one morning all of a sudden it was almost 100%. Given that quick an improvement I dont think the ribs were dented much at all. Last time it took more than a year to get better... so when its blowing enough to get planing on my biggest sail (7.8m) I'll be out there... looking forward to the next cold front!
That's good news Chris
At least with the lull you'll have been able to get into a bit of that work rather than being distracted by tree movement![]()
Looks like our reign of terror has come back to reality with a wet thud.
Welcome back and congrats to the SRM![]()
Don't look "up"![]()
