Look at the scores though, the teams below us are all neck and neck, so the order could change at any moment...
Yep alphas are certainly coming along, it's such a shame my GPS didn't record those ones I did at Manly, none of my PB's felt anywhere near as fast ![]()
Let me know next time you're thinking of doing the distance thing Fitz, I'll gladly tag along and keep you company. ![]()
Don't worry Fitz, Maximus and just got the new RS Racing and we are busting to clock some good times. All we need now is some strong wind to really wind them up. We all have to try that bit harder being as our haggar the horrible is out of action.
I wonder how gestalt is going on that speed machine he got last autumn ? Most team SEQ guys are getting pb's with each latest sail.
There is only one URRR HUMMM that hasn't improved. Bugger.

Fitz and Gestalt, I heading up the coast Sat afternoon. Depends when mum finishes fixing dogs and cats. I doubt I could get to Mooloolaba this time but might squeeze a quick run at golden beach late afternoon.
If its northerly Bribie side of GB will be flat as, good for alphas. We could plug the koncept onto your viper Gesty, ohh err missus. Is that a mast extension in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me.
OK I've figured it out.
Gestalt: If you get a PB then I'll send you the pictures of some sails for the library... C'mon, you know you want to ![]()
fitz,
mooloolaba is way windier than GB in a northerly.
when i told pete i wanted to try the viper there he got concerned. said something about me breaking it.
so he wants to try it at GB first.
keen for your kit nebbian. ![]()
i'll head to caloundra maybe do gb in the morning and then head to mooloolaba in the arvo.
may see you there salty
hey haggar, i got a great photo of you at the queens beach meet. i'll send it through.

Hey Nebbs I meant with the jokes not the speed, but it looks like you are throwing down the gauntlet.... last one to 200k is a girls blouse
It's a deal ![]()
Went out for a cheeky sail thisafternoon, man it's good living 5 mins from the water ![]()

so nebbian, about those photos? ![]()
i had a good session at GB. pleeaaassseeee!!!!!
qldsalty, r u coming to kirra?
Gestalt, No we are away for a four day weekend in Caloundra. Mum doesn't finish work until 1 or 2 pm any Sat, so I can't get there till 3:00 in most cases.
BC, Same as above. Bad timing I'm afraid. I've gone to a lot of trouble changing numbers and making templates for new numbers to comply with the new requirements for WQ Racing. Hopefully will get the next one.
Gr8 to see SEQ guys out 2day and some PB's well. Fitz and Mark, good to see your new boards into the mix as well ![]()
Well done team on getting us on the board!
Gestalt and I were busy getting bashed around in the shorebreak at Kirra, no way I'd wear a GPS there although I'm sure I would have hit at least 28 on some of the waves, it felt damn quick!
Also congratulations Maximus on the PB's, especially the alpha, I'm very jealous ![]()
wow, i didn't even think of the gps once today. as nebbian said we were at kirra,
some of us got bashed a little harder than others. i am so soar. i had my own personal groundhog day in the shorey. ![]()
good day though. glad to see you guys had fun aswell. congrats on the pb's.
Hey Guys, glad to see you had a good time in the surf,I had to work yesterday morning so couldn't make it. Forecast for today is good, are you going out again?Hopefully the water will be a bit flatter at GB on low tide. I can't believe how close I am getting to 30 knts but not quite making it. Well done Maxi and MK on your pbs
Hi Fitz,
So close but yet so far! You'll get there mate.
I'll throw the GPS on for the races, might help our distance or something. We're only one point behind the pit crew, I'm super keen to beat them [}:)]
Its been good here at GB for the last few days. Its been a little choppy at times, but at least the wind has been over 20. Hoping to get 22+ alpha soon!
Also waiting for fitz to get 30, cant be far off now ![]()
I might try Yamba shortly, as the runs at GB are a little short and gusty.
Well done on the PB's Fitz and Maximus, you guys are really pushing the boundaries ![]()
Was going to put the GPS on for the races but the holder broke again. Need to find some thick vinyl for it.
Hey Nebbian
Try the aquapack. I put my Garmin in that, and hang it around my neck, so it sits high on the chest under the rashy. Some days there are no spikes, usually only 4-5 at most.
Anyone out today? I will try for alph and nautical mile if the wind is right.
Hey mate, got an aquapac, but it doesn't strap to my arm so I've got another homemade jobbie that has velcro that goes around my arm. The problem is the pocket that the aquapac sits in... I need to find some strong vinyl for this pocket.
