I continue to be super impressed with these loggers and the results they give.![]()
Here is an example from today. Not anything special at all as a session, but the two Motion Loggers in my helmet gave super close results and very low error values. Many of these error differences are at or lower than the 0.003 resolution of the devices.
I am particularly impressed with the Alpha values. Closest in this category I have seen in any side by side tests with other devices, and these were not classic good Alpha's, but just survival gybes mostly.
18 satellites on every run.

Problem of logger placement for those who don't wear a helmet... SOLVED!
Bugger you Mike, I just wet myself ![]()

LOL! Perfect!
Put your wetsuit/neoprene cap over it. (and a soft pad under it) ![]()
Would go better in the recessed area instead of on the hump.
Or maybe a couple of self tappers.
At least a fangy fillet with weed gasket might help.

Firie, you should see him when he wears it over the top of his water polo cap!
I ordered 5 on 21/12/2019, when I get them will sell 3. But not sure what is happening with deliveries to Australia, seems a few teams got their order, but I am still waiting

George, we ordered and paid for ours at the same time just before new year, and received them in April. So would be worth a follow up.
Would you mind reporting back? I'd like to know and it would mean one less email to bother him with.
Hi Julien,
sending now, but I know how much effort you are putting into this and how many difficulties you had to overcome so please don't take my comment before as a complaint
Julien, please publish your australian bank account details.
GPSTC guys, I think Julien is selling his devices underpriced, and both him and the community would benefit from a voluntary donation. Please donate a few beers worth and help to get this project take off at full speed. We know the product is excellent, and would fix our issues with approved devices, let's make it happen !

Um, not sure that is a wise idea George. He will always email the details to you when you order.
I only have the paypal one which is fiddly and expensive to transfer to
Email Julien, he will send you his AUD account details.
I agree Giorgio, I'm also happy to help Julien with this project. It would be good if he can disclose the current situation, ie number of units ordered that have been paid for, and not yet fulfilled. It's concerning to read that a later order of 16 units was accepted and delivered ahead of earlier paid orders, but there looks to be issues Julien is trying to manage.
Julien can you share with us how many orders you have still to complete for the simple logger?
And what is current status of the screen motion? Are there many orders paid for still to be delivered? I know there are quite a few who would order one if they get a better feel of timing. All the spare loggers I ordered were sold quickly, I'm sure there's others who will buy them so could make another order if that helps you. Are you waiting for materials/parts? Or is the Europe shutdown affecting production?
thanks
Derryn
I'll reply here to this post from another topic.
So, there's a handful of old Mini orders that were waiting for an LCD, weren't in a rush or were sent part A but not part B. It's about 20 Mini Motion. I'll have them sorted out when the new charger batch arrives.
Simply put, I had bills to pay and John said : "I'd like 16 but I need them now". So of course I agreed, it cleared debt for that month. It's survival in a way.
Screen Motion are on trial #8,. You have #6 I guess. I made a batch and sent some within Europe for a quick opinion. If it's fine, I'll send some abroad when chargers arrive. There's only about 15 LCD prepaid excluding competitions.
Every month without LCD done is a month without positive balance. It's been more than a year now. Every trial is 2kEUR, changing casings and making new button molds was 3kEUR, redoing antennas and certifications is 2kEUR. It adds up quickly and it means that currently, on top of production and living costs, I need to find 750EUR/m to pay debt.
Yes, it would be great if team leaders who are certain to sell devices quickly could reorder some. It would throw me a life line.
At the moment it is a marketing bad loop, because the waiting time is unknown, people are hesitant to order.
I think you also have to increase the price of the mini motions, they are underpriced. It is not fair that we end up with an excellent product and you with debt.

Yes Giorgio you're right, if you compare the mini Motion against the GW60 the GW60 should retail for $2.50.
Thanks for the update Julien, you've put in huge effort to get these devices set up with the best technology possible, and they are very good value compared to other gps devices.
I've sent you an email re another order.

Giorgio, Julien has made significant progress in the last few months during which he made and delivered nearly a hundred units. He has advised me that he can make 10 units a week. He wants to trade out of his current financial difficulties. The best way to support Julien is to follow Dezza's example and to purchase and encourage others to purchase his excellent product.
Via the website, there is an order form on www.motion-gps.com
or if you just want 1 or 2 you can join my next order if you like and I'll send to you when they arrive, pm me if you'd like to do that
Thank you all for the help!
A quick word about powersloshin's message : the waiting list for LCDs is packed full. The issue is I can't execute many of these without having a good look back at the current trial. If today I accept 20 LCD orders, produce them, ship them and learn in 3 weeks that the very first trial devices have black lines, I'm out 20 devices I made + 20 devices I'll have to remake. It would be suicide. So I'm taking it slow. Trials #2-5 had 100% of black lines over time. #6-7 have 10% so far. #8 have 0% so far. When new chargers get here, I'm sending some to Australia and USA. Baby steps.
Thank you all for the help! >>I'm sending some to Australia and USA. Baby steps.
Be really nice if I had one of them, I wouldn't be phased with the odd black line, as long as the display was still readable.
But if I'm on the back of the queue, so be it.
Hey Julien - just wanted to thank you for the motion. It is bloddy terrific.
It is exactly what I needed to replace my canmore - simple and easy so congratulations on your huge efforts.
cheers
Question... Has anyone else turned their logger on (definitely got 3 green lights before putting it on) and at the end of a session (long red to show it was off)... only to find when downloading that there is no data recorded? Have had about 50 sessions with no issue, but last two have had the issue. Have I maybe done something different?? (DEFINITELY fully charged and worn on shoulder facing up )
any ideas??? Have reloaded the programme - using 3006.
