Must be kiters: I guess "Sylv" is Sylvain Cattelan, I don't know about the other one, but assuming that Gunnar Asmussen is underlined in red for being the fast windsurfer and Zara Davis for being the fastest female windsurfer this would be logic.
With Twan Verseput below 50 knots in his best attempt, I can't imagine anyone doing 54 on a windsurfer the same day.

Go, Gunnar! I still have my bets on him for the days with record-breaking conditions. All he seemed to be lacking so far was consistent speed over the 500m.

22.11.:
Zara Davis: "Subject to Ratification by the WSSRC I have a new women's world record of 46.49 knots. Thanks to Simmer Style AL360 Windsurfing Tools J?rg Sonntag Synergy WorldWide Walnut Grove Clinic Farrel O'shea for believing in me and helping me achieve this fantastic goal."

After that, there seems to have been strong wind at too tight an angle, so the channel was flat and everybody felt fast, but the numbers weren't that great.
I'm under the impression that they're about to close the challenge for this year. Am I mistaken? It would mean lots of big names didn't appear at all.

And look:
Magnus Bengtson must have had so much momentum he managed anautical mile on the channel. How on earth did this happen?

Yep, today is the last day, canal closes. Just Jim and Sylvian left. Jim said it was very very strong today and unfortunately, Sylvian broke his ankle in a crash.

strange the nautical mile for Magnus, maybe it includes the pick up truck ride back up the course.
