Dad and i are looking to order one each. Current wait times? and best to order from link below? Or a chance someone is getting stock into Australia shortly?

Very good question Izaak, something could happen in the future, but as far as I know that link is the only source at the moment.
Are there any issues with Mac compatibility remaining , such as connectivity, file formats or file conversions? Can we go straight from the Motion GPS to KA72 submission solely on the Mac without relying on PC based software?
There are no problems with mac connectivity as long as you don't get one of the early ones that had a windows only chip in it.
Dylan hasn't yet written support for the ,OAO or .UBX format, but I imagine it's high on his to do list, so no, uploading to KA72 doesn't work.
At the moment you need either GPSResults or GPSAR.
Sorry Andrew. With a Mac, you can't post via KA72 yet. If you haven't have GPS-Results or GPSAR-Pro (for reading UBX), you can post to GPSTC manually only.
Most of my testing of the Motion has been directly with a Mac, It connect really well and does FW updates easily and even config changes (caution
) but I have to send the data to Windows for some analysis in various programs.

Just as an addendum to the above. Typically, a Mac user is using the Mac version of GPS-Results. At time of writing, the Mac version of GPS Results does NOT provide a conversion of oao files to sbp. It's a bit tedious, but a work-around is to load Windows GPS Results in a virtual machine such as Virtual Box, VMware etc. running Windows.

yes. I did just that today and uploaded the Windows GPS-Resuilts converted file to KA72. Worked fine.![]()
I honestly don't understand why more competitions don't take my offer of sending their current any-format parser to receive an oao/ubx equivalent parser. It would be done in days. We'll see.
All devices work on any modern OS except for a select few between identifiers 1800-1830 which are Windows only. These were the firsts with the modern-many-improvements-board and I made an USB mistake in them. Instead of scrapping them and delaying the devices for four more weeks, I offered them to Windows users. If they later switch to another OS or if their device is later sold to someone on another OS by mistake, I'd swap it. All previous devices and all future devices are fine.
Current lead time is three weeks. And a big thank you all for grouping your orders so I can send multiple in one shipment. It's a big saving for me.

I'm sure if the GTC had it's own parser, we'd do just that.
You'd need to talk to Dylan to see why he doesn't take up your offer for KA72.

Julien,
Is it possible for you to open source your parser on Github so that anybody can run it as a command line utility? This would help solve the bottleneck for Mac users.
Pacey, I think the mac version of GPSResults processes the OAO file fine, (it just doesn't do a sbp conversion) and a manual post isn't rocket science.

Yes the latest Mac Version of GPSResults does process oao. ( The Mac version seems to have always the poor relation compared to the Windows one). The difficulty for me, is how to post manually to Ka72 - I think you have to upload a file itself to Ka72?
Yes, if you really need to post to KA72 you need a compatible file.
But it shouldn't be too long now, Julien and Dylan are talking at the moment. I'm sending Dylan the windows test unit, and Julien will write the OAO parser for KA72
