No I think you never got good because you spent too much time telling everyone how awesome you are rather than actual sailing.
Playing tennis and riding bikes don't do much for windsurfing, neither does talking **** and dropping names all the time ![]()

LeeD must be PM33's long lost brother - they both have the "water off a duck's back" gene.
Their joint mission seems to be to lecture us with useless, inane information ![]()
Mr. KEEN.....I wasn't talking directly to idioats like you.
I was directly answering to an uniformed fellow poster.

I wonder, do you guys train and workout in the off season specifically for windsurfing?
I never have, maybe that's why I never got good.
Playing tennis and riding bikes do nothing for windsurfing.
Sorry......BS
I train 12 hrs a week in the gym with a designed program for what I do. Plus outdoor work and whatever presents on the weekend. Any physical exercise will benefit your windsurfing......maybe not to what you wish for ![]()
Sorry guys this is mainly my fault by suggesting lee try nose landings, obviously he doesn't want advice. So i suggest in future, don't try and tell him anything, it will just lead to another of these thread takeovers.
Since you guys don't want me quoting names, I can only say I have talked to dozens of sponsored riders including current pros and none advocate repeated attempts at nose first landings.

it's a cultural thing haunting a lot of Aussies LeeD. Don't worry about it. What is remarkable is that we produced Greg Norman.

Nat Young, Bob McTavish, George Greenough, Simon Anderson.
Isn't George a yank?
I was extremely surprised to find Bob is a J.W.
Nat Young, Bob McTavish, George Greenough, Simon Anderson.
Err this is a windsurfin thread. Correct me if im wrong but theyre all surfin related dudes.
More name dropping.
Relevance to this thread?
Nat Young, Bob McTavish, George Greenough, Simon Anderson.
Nat young - surfer
Bob Mctavish - surfboard shaper
George Greenough - eccentric designer of many things.
Simon Anderson - surfboard shaper.
All very influential and clever individuals but why did you just list those names off?
what trip are you on LeeD?
P.S. Why the **** are we talking about these guys in the GPS/ speed sailing forum???
Great little session last night, and nearing the end of an epic week of wind that didn't quite pan out. Yes it looks like we are still fit enough ![]()

That's exactly why I have 5.3, 5.5, 5.6, 5.8, and 6.0's in the garage.
Amelda Marcos has more shoes than you I bet.
