Here are some very interesting views of the weed from Sue's mast cam on the 12-14kts wind session.

I went out yesterday from Packers pt.There was not enough wind to plane but there were some amazing weed formations in the middle .
Sandy areas with round mounds of weed scattered around.
Packers launch was pristine 2 weeks ago but with all the birdlife it's starting to be a bit cloudy just around the launch area and stinks of guano..

Not so. Water will be there and also probably wind, even if not epic.

It looks like LG has not finished with us yet. Seems to be a late LG season.

I'm still a month away and I haven't told the family yet either. If it's windy then we stop for a session or I'll visit when I come home regardless

Finally home and able to process the drone panoramic shots
3 Mile looking north, rigging area bottom right.

Taken from same spot looking south back to Beachport

Full 180 degree looking north

Taken from just north of caravan park.

Sandy Point, a nice spot to visit on the way home

Bit hard to see the pano shots on this forum, if anybody wants to see more detail then PM me with your email address.
Same thing goes for the group shot posted on 20-Feb if anybody wants a high res copy.

Woohoo!
This looks great. Now I really know what you mean when there's talk of "sailing glass".
Anyone sailing a twin fin board there? Or are there cross-country skiing tracks in the first pic? In the bottom right corner pointing upwards and a little to the right, I mean.
