Primbee? yes.... Designed for chop with quite a bit of vee, little bit of concave to negate the reduction in lift from the vee, classic rocker line and particularly from 700 back
I like that it has lots of footstrap-holes - better than having to find some marine-grade stainless...

Maiden voyage this morning, >30 knots wind, very choppy water, 5.0m sail, board handled it beautifully, looking forward to seeing how it goes in flatter water

an extra 7 to 10 liters on the 54W would be very interesting

Nice board and colour! the majority of speed sailing now is done in weedy locations, would moving the fin box forward be of any benefit in that the fins wont need to be offset? AB says something along these lines in that it frees the board up. 2.39
AB is talking about something a little different , but its funny you mentioned it - this board is destined for a weedy location and as such I considered moving the box forward. However I decided not to after a discussion with the guru Mr Hooper. He made the point that as so many weedies are set forward, don't change the board as the fins already are 'changed'.
Further, moving it forward will upset everything when you do have a non weedy spot.
And this is not pure speed board I fibbed a little bit its a freerace.
Colour chosen by customer, I was not a fan until I saw it finished and yes -nice. Its a JP colour

I knew it would look great Mark ;) Thanks for building the board! To me it's not just a colour, it's a tribute to my previous board but glad others like it too.
I am not a speed sailor, nor a slalom guy. Just want to have fun, sail fast and comfortable in Safety Bay. I will share my thoughts after the maiden voyage, can't wait :)

Hope you get some wind for it soon, I'm keen to hear how it goes!
My 2nd M_Oz Octane custom arrived last week, big brother to the 44w, got it wet for the first time today. This one is 54w x 226, 73litres, volume distribution felt perfect, no issues keeping on plane in light breeze and great in the stronger gusts, used it with a 6.2m and 17cm speed demon.

Mark has been great, lots of photo updates on the way through the build, top quality boards, very happy to add them to my boardroom, thankyou!

Sexy indeed . When do we see a 120 litre version ?
any time you want man.
About to do a 116L fast freeride, could use the speed rocker on that template and foil, and Roberta's ya uncle.
Just dunno when I have time to build my boards now...
