So, correct me if I've misinterpreted, this wouldn't affect the scoring system but you tick the category that applies to your session and then you would be able to filter out, e.g. all formula sessions for a team, or month, or year.

Yep you got it.

I like it. Be great to be able filter between my formula and slalom sessions and PB's. Having this field in the csv export file would be tops as well.

How about freeride (ie no cam and freeride board) and beginners categories?

ooh! ooh! and a category for slow people. Now there's something I'm good at

EDIT: Please excuse my sarcasim. IMO GPSTC is about going fast. Why get over complicated.

Well we have a bit of trouble getting some members to tick whether they are using Trackpoints or Doppler...so maybe further complications may be a bit over the top

I don't know if it's been mentioned already, but a "quote" option for replying to other people's comments would be useful.

Are there plans to recognise team members who contribute the most to their team's result via the monthly category award system? The maximum someone should be able to receive in a year is 72. It could be another way to both acknowledge individual and team efforts?

Just realised that I cannot post or comment on the site from my Ipad, Is there any chance ipad functionality could be added to the site

...a small basic suggestion. When you open someone's profile, there is no team name.

There is a workaround, bit it would be nice, and there is plenty of space on the profile.

Great work on the site improvements so far Nebbian! Much more informative yet simple.
You must be despairing at all the work required by the suggestions we continue to make but it's because we can see that you put them to good use.
Keep up the good work.

Round of applause...

Bundy - I have the same issue on my iPhone. Have gotten around it by clicking on html view first, then typing comments from there. Don't know why this works but it is a clunky work around so +1 to your suggestion. Nebs, if possible, better functionality on Apple tech would be sweet.

Nebs,
I think a general comments page (not linked to any specific session) has been mentioned (which I think would be great), but has anyone suggested an individual team notice board page where only team members can post and view comments. This would allow teams who sail in a number of different locations to (covertly ) co-ordinate sessions and bitch about the Pit Crew in private

Of course as the site's administrators, I fully trust you and Hardie not to view anyone's but your own team's notice board.

PS - To implement this request you just need to press two (or maybe three) buttons on your keyboard Nebs.

Don,t you have "Trust" in your team yet or is it that no one has given you their Email/phone number yet.

I,d like a pb for the year icon as its justs getting too hard for us to achieve one any more

Yes, I made a fair few PBs in 2010. Around 13.

The trick is to pace yourself. 44kms one day 45kms the next. 27 knots one day. 28.2 the next.

I think its a notion along the lines of the 5x10 average being more repesenative of quality of speed than the 2sec peak
