I think they are supposed to be here by end of month (BC will probably confirm tomorrow)...
I'm getting impatient too, someone swiped my data cable so I can't post ![]()
No worries Gestie, if my name was Pierre or Vando you would be suspected trying to sabotage the MBM [}:)].
The Eagle has landed ..... Well, the Navi GT 31's have!!
They will be in store when customs have finished prodding them ... hopefully tomorrow.
Jez
Great news Jez!
I'll call tomorrow arvo to check the eagle really has landed and try and drop in late arvo and pick mine up [if it has landed].
Cheers
You're right Snides - sad but most likely true! Going off topic again but you have to read it and weep boys!

Yes we are back to the two solitary stars [both representing a massive 11 knots] in the WindGuru 7 day outlook for Perth [as at 8pm Tuesday WST].
Slowey has resorted to edgy youtube music videos featuring powertools to deal with the demons!
The GT31s haven't arrived in the UK yet. No too worried as i still have my GT11. What price are you peeps paying for it? I'm paying £100 for an aqua pac SD card and the GT31. Not a bad deal i would say.
Navi A$190
AquaPac 208 A$ 69
SD Card A$ 12
Rec Retail A $271 ~ 130 Quid
I think a lot can do better with a bit of negotiation . Tom used to sell Navis for $120 plus $10 postage but doesn't do it any more.
Similar story with Aquapac though harder to get a discount.
Storage Depot probably still has the best deal.
I use a $2.40 Clip It box with my old Garmin straps and just use the internal memory so have a functioning doppler unit in a waterproof case for 63 Pounds ( $132.40).
Not sure if there will be an increase with the 31 but doubt if it will be much.
I have read on several forums that the Navis had an ex-Taiwan price of US$600 for a box of 10 so I suspect the high Garmin price allowed dealers here to get away with asking more for it than the usual mark up. After all it was better and still comparatively cheap (to the Garmin 201) But that is just my opinion , I have no concrete knowledge of the landed price.
There was a dealer selling a package here. But I noted that the SD cards he offered (3.3v) did not work with the Navi. He was probably unaware that it ( the GT-11 at least) only worked with 2.8v cards.
Good call on the SD card m8. I will mail the shop thats selling the package. (riks windsurfing)
Well at last us brits are getting something cheaper that you guys. I will check for the flying pig on the horizon lol
Diesel is £5 a gallon here. i live 350 miles from West Kirby and the Ray. clucking bell springs to mind lol.
Simon, I was referring to a Perth dealer about the wrong card for the 11.
According to the Locosys guys, one of the things they fixed with the 31 was making it compatible with 3.3V cards as well. But maybe it not perfect as this is what they say on their site.
GT-31 provides power of 2.8VDC.
The following cards have been tested to work with GT-31:
SanDisk 2G
Transcend 1G
Kingstone 2G
PNY 2G
PQI 2G
Apacer 2G 60X
Compatible/Suggested SD card to go with Locosys GT-31/BGT-31 or SD cards (<=2GB) with 2.8VDC(3.3VDC~2.7VDC) power input should work.
Supposedly you should get a bunch of software bundled with it. So it should be great value. Pity it is not more waterproof....

350 miles? Hey . we are 3800km from Sandy Point. Takes days to drive or lots of money to fly (and drive) and anyway your local spots don't look too shabby.
