OK nominate your team here, with no. of team members, so we get an idea of interest and numbers.

Not used to doing these things so bear with me.
Registration process ends 30th of April 2007, details to follow:

All current nominations will count as registration just send details of team members to me via email here!

Have deleted age categories just to make simpler.

Once we get enough members and rules sorted, we'll get some sort of registration process underway.

There is no limit to how many teams each state can supply.

Official nominations so far:

WA Mandurah Mob 7 team members
WA Team Pinna's 3 Team Members
WA Westozwind Warriors (Woodmans Point) 4 team
WA Swan River Mob 3 team members (more to come)
QLD Burrum Heads Mob 2 team members
QLD FNQ Mob 3 team members
QLD Brizzy Crew 6 team members
QLD Team SEQ 4 team members
QLD Gold Coast 4 (5) team members
QLD CQ Ripple Riders 4 Team Members
SA Artheads,2 x M Team Members
NSW Cockroaches 10 team members
NSW Lake Macquarie 2 (3) Team Members

Well I fall into the M category so I'm presuming that makes me a master. I haven't been called that since I opened a bank account when I was 8. So I'm guessing I could look at it like that and feel really young again OR I could go down the route of relating it the masters games etc where there is basically a bunch of old codgers hobbling around doing different sports wearing shorts up to their armpits and long white socks. Considering how I feel after my soccer game on Friday night I'll go with the latter

I been waiting for a star for a while too

Anyway what is the purpose of this shindig? Is there an optimum team size or team limit? Instead of making A or B teams do it by location ie Brissie north/south, goldie etc. Hope the FNQ's are feeling up to it cause they'll be holding the fort for queensland, no wind one day... or the next.

It's evolving as we go...... no hard and fast rules or limitations yet........ Inclusiveness Participation Fun and Building Relationships is what it's all about......... 2 sponsors have approached saying they are interested in being involved......... So may grow into something bigger than I originally thought!!

btw Hardie, we don't want to be called the Botany Bay blasters. In true Rugby League fashion the Sydney team is to be now known as the cockroaches

Hi guys I'm happy to be part of the sunshine coast team if we get enough people or I will fit in with the Brissy team.FNQ would have the best chance of wind this time of year. I'm going to Green Island sometime during July if all goes to plan. Lets hope we get some good westerlies in a couple of months. I see Troppo might be shifting to the WA team in July.

yeah leaving sunny, warm and windy Cairns in the middle of winter to go to rainy cold Perth.

I was originally supposed to start over there in October. How sweet i thought get the whole season here and then kick off in WA for the start of theirs.

They moved my transfer forward and gave me 7 weeks to pack all my **** up and get over there.

i like boardies in winter!! Any one got a dry suit to lend me???

or wants to buy a VS V8 holden ute???

I"m confused. Is there one place where this whole thing is explained simply.....(events, divisions, age groups, track info, entry, etc).Couple of threads and lotsa postings with diff ideas opinions, but I dont know the final decision. Cheers.

No final decision yet, still in development phase, this particular thread was for nominating a team that's all. Others have used it for expressing ideas and chatting, which is OK, but leads to some confusion, it's the nature of forum's and the internet.

When we get an idea of numbers and what people want will make it more official. The forum is for getting ideas happening and building interest. Be patient Mikey100, and do you mind me asking a question? "Are you really 100? that would put you in the SGM category with Decrepit"
