North Pacific freeride foil board. 135 liter 75 cm wide. Everything is so perfectly balanced and placed that it is actually easy to foil. These are custom built by hand in Hood River and cost the same as production boards.

I keep meaning to get something like that, I took a few hits last season.
problem is they are just not as sexy as a new sail or board so budget keeps getting spent on those.

I got this at the start of summer to replace my Flying Objects transit which I lost somehow. I wasn't sure at first and took some getting used to but now I have figured it out I am really liking it. Sort of a half waist and half seat, no straps around the legs and a flap that sort of gribs the butt and stops it riding up. Its more of a Hip harness. The only negative I have found it when water starting the butt flap is a bit of a sea anchor but not a real issue. I got it online fron Japan, not cheap but really well made.

There are a few of these around ( superseded models ) I think from when one of the distributors closed up. I picked up one (okay maybe two,one for mainland one for island) at the time and like them a lot. I think Board Crazy has some of them now.

I'd better get my lawn photo- ready for when I rig it. Actual newest toy-arrived a day after the sail -was a new stinger suit. Jellies are shocking at present up here. But there is no way I'll inflict a pic of me in head to toe Lycra on the fine people of Seabreeze!!

No problem you can take a photo of the box it arrived in or the sail bag. There's an opportunity to be creative.

In the Board Cave... so proof of existence!!! Hehe. Rigged photo ( with no Lycra in view) to follow when an opportunity arises!

I scares me that you guys are doing 40 knots somewhere that requires a 14 cm fin.

It's not that bad Martin, water depth in most places about a 1meter, weed grows to the surface, on correct tide clearance about 150mm from top of weed to surface, plus some floaty weed That is until you get to the last 500m of the run then it's about 300mm +- 100mm of water. It only hurts if you crash Location is Albany best NM run in WA, close second to Lake George, for now, until someone cracks the 40+ NM run at Albany
