Carbon like finish helmet over the same ABS plastic the other Gedi helmets are made of, which is why they don't cost any more than a colored one.
They look very cool though, but I chose flat black. I think the Gedi is best helmet on the market.

Gedi's are made for people with round heads ,and very comfy .
And warm and quite, I installed those long plugs that go inside the lid, it's usually cold where I sail.
