Too cold in Perth to sail

Definitely a lot of people going soft it seems. I have sailed all throughout winter. Its never that cold. A decent 3x2 wetsuit and a fleece rashie on the coldest of days. That isn't cold by world standards at any stretch of the imagination. I like winter sailing as much as summer.

NR, your avatar suggests you ocean sail, take it from me, rain water from the hills is much colder than ocean water!
There's been a lot of frosts out there, just ask some of the wheat farmers.
I've experienced having to use both hands to turn the ignition key, due to paddling in a river mouth break.
So river/estuary sailors complaining of unusual cold is to be expected.

Too cold on the Swan River Peter, head north mate, here's Sandy Bay Exmouth just over a month ago, just crystal water, boardies and a big grin
