The shop and I agreed that the boom had a manufacturer defect, so they were very kind to give me a credit. I do lots of business with them because of their honesty, wonderful customer service and knowledge of the sport. I like when shops go out of their way to work with customers. I owned a business for while and that's what I did. The idea is to develop a good relationship with customers and they will come back to you every time. When you have good relations with companies, they will reward you for you repeated business. Windsurfing companies are all about attracting repeat customers, but I'm sure ya know that.
