I own a slingshot and I wouldn't buy another. Just poorly engineered, prone to loosening and in my experience not durable.
I'd take a NP Glide and two wings for the same price. In 2020 they will be offering faster wings as well.
I don't find a 78cm board narrow. I foil a 72cm with completely inboard straps and its excellent. I'm moving towards a 66cm freestyle board so I can compact my quiver still further.
My only debate is whether to get a Tuttle installed or try a foil built for PB which limits options.

I agree, NP glide great value, quality and easy to use for new starters, there are no used ones for sale on seabreeze because no one wants to let them go
I foiled on SS Infinity 84 for 1 year. What put me away was that the frontwing started wobbling on the fuse and that it's sooooo heavy.
Now on a Moses foil, life's good.

My experience is that Slingshot foils and boards are incredibly durable - 300+ sessions in the ocean without any major issues.
Rode a waist-high wave today too close to the reef, suddenly the water was about a foot deep and I hit the limestone at about 18 knots, catapulting a couple of meters.
Thought I'd lost the foil for sure but just a small gouge on the front edge of the 76 wing (that will sand out) and a couple of loose bolts.
Tuttle box on the Wizard 105 and rest of the foil all ok ![]()
Changed to the 65 wing and went out for another blast ![]()
SW12-18, Infinity76, Tricera 5m

SW18-22, Infinity65, Tricera 5m

Durability on the Slingshot is awesome, I can confirm this.
Supfoiling, I was washed over rocks this summer, both 8mm screws of the mast fuse connection got torn, but there was just a repairable scratch on the rear wing.
Luckily the Infinity 84 floated with fuse and rear wing attached, so I could get all my stuff back on shore.
Replaced the screws and I was back in the sattle.
But still it was soooo heavy...
Azymuth, what board do you like better with the infinity 65 wing?
I like both the Wizard 105 and Freestyle 87.
The 105L is a little easier - more space to move my feet in the gybes and gets up foiling quicker.
The 87L sinks to my knees when the wind drops but is insane fun when up - super loose feeling ![]()
Thanks again for the replies.
I have narrowed it down to
SS infinity 76,
Moses 790 which appears to be similar to the 76 only lighter and higher aspect,
NP glide
starboard supercruiser.
The moses is a fair bit lighter than the SS, has anyone feedback on the feel and quality of the moses?
I noticed that there is also a GA mach 1 which appears to be a rebadged Moses
The glide looks like it flys early and is maneuverable but does it top out quite early?
Don't know much about the supercruiser

From what I saw the glide only comes with a 70cm mast. If that is true it will only last you about one week.

2020 Glide seems to be 80

Website also lists a faster M wing. Surf Glide page has a pic.
"The new medium slim wings have been developed to offer a foil set up that is faster, can take off on higher waves and allow for tighter turns. These wings are specially made for advanced foilers that want to speed up their foil set up."
I spoke to Tyson Poor and he hit 25kts on the medium Slim. Apparently it gives up nothing on the I76 and they will be releasing a small slim as well. Plus their mast is far stiffer and wings 40% less expensive.
I see enough slingshot gear available used that the prices are very low, don't see any Glides come up.
