By the way, the RF91 is 160litres so no problem uphauling and slogging if need be. (See parallel thread on issues and techniques for hauling with small boards).
The shop I mentioned has both i99 and 84 and the only widfoil board they have for test is Slingshot Shred Sled 140 l. They are more kite, wing, sup and surf oriented. I may need to rent a foil and board somewhere else.
Any experience with Shred Sled?

Suggest try the SS i84 foil, with your existing board.
Don't believe there are any brand compatibility issues between brands of foils and brands of boards, apart from the mast to board connections, (deep tuttles or foil mast tracks).

Hi Lech, for me XL wing takes off with 10- 12 knots with 6.2m North sails or 5.7 Lift sail. I am not good at pumping

Andrezej, I have the 1220 cm2 1st gen Naish foil. It was OK. I upgraded to the 1570cm2 2019 foil and like you, found it far better for what I wanted. Wind speed to get flying is down around 11 knots. I have also tried a mates Slingshot i84, and think it's got a little better go in lighter winds and seems a little easier to control - slower to manouver. If you want to get your min wind speed lower for take off, start looking at foil specific sails. I love the Naish Lift, but there are lots of others out there with good low wind performance. Problem I think is that foil specific sails can tend to have a narrow wind range.
Hi martyj4 I actually got Lift 5.7 recently. I like it but not sure if I am rigging it correctly. For me it seems to need more downhaul than written. If I apply only what's written upper batten is too far behind the mast and difficult to rotate. What is your experience?
Check your boom hight. From the lower to the upper position you need to add between 6 to 8 cm to what is written on the sail.
I have had the same issue as I am 1.96 and therefor at the max. Position.

No, I just like the modularity concept of Slingshot foils. Slingshot boards look to me too radical, I prefer a bit mor traditional ws boards' design e.g. JP Hydrofoil.
