Help for Jose

Here is an update on Jose, Gofundme website also has two more pictures of Jose, one in the hospital and the other foiling.

Hi All, I want to thank you for your kind donations. Jose is overwhelmed with gratitude by the outpouring of love and support he has received.

Here's a brief update on his condition:
- Jose is still in the ICU.
- He is still paralyzed from the shoulders down.
- He is on a ventilator that is connected to a trache tube in his neck.
- Jose has had a tough time this past week, battling some issues that have come up due to the severity of his injury.
- Last week his heart stopped and had to be revived.
- They are still not certain what was causing the heart issues.
- He is battling two blood infections, one fungal and the other bacterial.
- They are trying to keep his blood pressure up to stimulate blood flow and healing.
- Jose has been doing a lot better over the past three days, with no heart problems and his fever has gone down.
- He is alert and even though he is hooked up to a ventilator (via trache), he is able to make enough sound to communicate.
- Jose's spirits remain high.
- He is constantly thanking his nurses and telling them how much he appreciates and loves them.
- Jose is looking forward to getting out of the ICU and into therapy on the mainland.
