I would love to be able to foil carve on waves but we don't have that here in light winds, so something in between. As a sailor i like to carve and jump mostly, i like speed too but not a necessity.

Look at the Starboard Freeride Plus and a board around 75-80cm wide, +120L.
The big front wings will be inefficient at your weight and a narrow board won't offer much leverage.
If you had swell to play on I'd point you a different direction.
Relative lightweight at 60kg and foiling yesterday in 7-10kts using a 5.5M sail.
Hi, i am similar weight to you (61kg), waay less experience (4 years) and skills. My plan is to foil in light winds up to 15kts or maybe 18kts, biggest sail will be 5.5.
Which board (width?) and which foil (area?) are you using with 5.5 sail?
Do you think a 70cm 115lt foil board and 1500cm? low aspect foil is suitable (and not grow out of it quickly) for a beginner our size?
Board used is 2018 Horue Tiny 110L, 210cm x 75.8cm. Initially thought 5.5M would be on the too small size for F3 days. Plenty big enough. This season using the 4.5M the most. Reflects our local conditions and why we picked up foiling. Lot of 10-15 kt days. Too many 7-11 kt days before we discovered foiling.
Have two foil wings. The SlingShot Infinity 84 and 76. I think the 84 is +2000cm. It's huge with a real low stall speed and real slow top speed. Fine for learning. Up here it allows for riding the swells. Bit of a kick "surfing" the swells or linking carves swell to swell on downwind runs. The "bad" thing about the 84 vs. the 76 is it seems to pop up (literally) abruptly and at a very low board speed. Took a sessions to get the proper feel. Also, deep tuttle box only limits position to a tad bit too far back even in the C position. Another thing to compensate for. Beginner just trying to figure out how to complete a foiling jibe. Slow, wide radius jibes. I need the low stall speed to figure out foiling jibes. Still confusing myself. Bit of clarity yesterday. Flip the sail and sail switch stance, stabilize and then switch the feet seems to work better for me.
One issue starting out was trying to figure out the correct setup of my mix of gear. Added a bit of confusion and delayed development. Hard to figure out what is proper foil, mast position, boom height when you are totally new to foiling. When it comes to gear I usually don't grow out of it. Maybe too frugle? Just happy with the gear I have and use it until trashed. First "foil" sail was my old 2000 5.5M Naish Edge that I dug out from storage. Bit of sail repair tape and it was functional.
