I know it's little off topic but I think it shows what is possible with good technique and gear. Link taken from Seabreeze SUP foil forum. No wind foiling

On topic for me, thanks AdiZi, no clean wind lately (only thunderstorm driven wind) so when I saw that video looked at prone foiling, just ordered a SUP paddle to see if I can get up on my windfoil kit with a paddle and a Gulf of Mexico swell. I know I can pump the AFS F1080 cm2 wing when the wind drops in-flight for a 1/4 mile or more. Lift foils now makes foil wings in the same range for prone foiling, so will see. Not going to be easy, at first at least! But better than sitting on the beach waiting for a seabreeze. Now boats will also throw a big wave on shore too, could wait for those if no swell, get them regularly on a calm day.
