Yeah i'd like to be able to read stuff about what foils are best etc so I second Spooky's request. :)
nah...it's fad..... give it another few months and it'll be gone !
no major brands releasing any foil related equipment. A part maybe from Naish, starboard, fanatic, select, tabou, neil pryde and a few others...
not worth it !

in any case we the... West oz foil team aka WOFT have our own little messenger forum happening with about a dozen members to date
I suggested the foiling section on the kiting part of the site. It has been good, more local, great tips and shared advice and has connected people across the country. Several of us would have not progressed as fast without some crucial suggestions.
What we have begun to notice is there is developing crossover in all the disciplines, as long as they are foilers, and whether it's windsurfer , kite, surf or SUP. I am bugging to try SUP foil, and in the past month we have started to see the first regular surf foilers as the swell appears in WA.
I mean, what idiot thought that sticking a mast on surfboard would ever last? And as for that plonker that thought you could 'sail' with a kite, he was on hiding to nowhere, obviously. He must read up about those who tried to ride a board on a wave, Whatever happened to them? ..... ;).

In the SUP forum if was getting about 70% of posts in "General" were about Foiling...
For Windsurfing .. I count 4 topics in the last 3 weeks .. I ain't for or against, .. just with so little posts, doesn't seem much demand for it?

I said it a few times before there should be a single foiling site.
Then ultimately subsections.
Many kite, SUP and even wind foil guys do 2 or 3 of these .
I have all 3 and working towards being a world champion.
Need to get a move on as started kite foiling at 70 and now starting on the other 2 disaplins

I think a lot of the traffic to do with foiling is going straight into those four posts, in particular the thread thats just called "foiling" (
i reckon youll see a lot more specific posts if its given its own forum...

These foils have been covered in many sections. Let's skim the foils off the top, ball it much and throw them off to their own section I say. Then we are 'free of the foil' and can breath again...
