Read that thread through and you'll find reports supporting their effectiveness, people who use them and testimonials, id suggest putting the argument to bed.

This also might be worth sharing..

That's about right hey. Everyone who screams that we're in their environment is right but I'd put money on it that they don't spend a lot of time on the water.

i laugh at pussys that want to kill something so they can feel safer in their recreational pursuit. Pathetic Wuss bags.

Take my hat off to those that that come up with no fatal solutions that thoSe who are scared can use so they feel safer. Good on enterprising inventors.

Try the all new power balance shark repellent wrist band or sticker. Power Balance Performance Technology consists of Hologram Stickers. You put 'em on your board, in your board shorts or in your booties.

"The totality of our existence depends on the efficient exchange and balance of positive and negative electrical charges called ions... Power Balance®, after years of research and development, has produced a system to safely restore and optimize the electro-magnetic balance within the human body that is repugnant to man eating Sharks.

Mylar Holographic Disk (the same substance used to keep static electricity from damaging electrical components) has been embedded with an electrical frequency that restores your body’s electrical balance... and attracts really stupid Girls as well as repels sharks.

When the static Power Balance Hologram comes in contact with your body’s energy field, it begins to resonate in accordance with each individual’s biological, creating a harmonic loop de loop de loop de loop."
