Surgery was 10th July Mick so yeah about 6 weeks. I've actually had the all clear for a couple of weeks now, but have just had my ring hanging out with work or the weather has been ****e.
When the next lot of hols due?
Did the early today for the long trip out. First wave was pretty solid and barreled nicely but I took the pic too soon.
Nice! Tomorrow looks alright too. Should I check out a new spot to me or go for the same old shiiiit?

Not quite happening today - at both places I tried it looked better than it was (and it didn't look all that great!).
I'm putting that session down as exercise...
I'm satisfied. I checked that 'new' spot before dawn... looked really small. Headed to well known pastures and couldn't get excited. U-turned to my starting point and was surprised by the rides on offer (yeah, it was small and inconsistent, but better than expected). Shame about the pre-pubescent prone shoulder hopper shutting down almost every wave I caught until he found others to hamper.
It has potential. I think I might have found my new local!
Having said that, I could only peer with envy at what is likely Zuke's stomping grounds off in the distance doing their thing in the off-shores.
