One of the sharkiest waves in WA I reckon, up there with Crazies.
There is no denying it is shark infested.
I seen a seal get flicked in the air there like on shark week it was spectacular and horrifying particularly when moments before the seal had been saying hello to me
I've gotta say the seals out there do make me a bit uncomfortable, reckon I checked to make sure my Surfsafe was working about 400 times in 2 hours. The water is always nice and murky just to complete the dodgy feel
Ripper fun waves at Legian beaches this morning 2-4ft near on 100m rides reasonably well behaved crowd much more user friendly than yesterday's sphincter clenching action at Temples
Anyone else score this morning?
I scored an easy drive to work while seemingly everyone else must have been at the beach :(
Took the punt the wind would drop off for a sundowner and had a blast.
Delightful,?looks like fun
It was super fun Razz, there's nothing quite like a sundowner with the changing colours of the wave as the sun gets lower and the water turning black under you. Just love it.
Jeez you guys are keen at the moment. Although from memory the subject might have an Rpela, if that's the seabreezer I'm thinking of.

Keen as always Legion and no devices. Hope you're scoring too mate.
Lots of high tides stealing the sand, inlets open and running, a variety of swell directions, and eclectic selection of waves on hand. All Good down here
I'm back from overseas after nearly 2 years, my last over waist high surf was September last year, time to get some froth on![]()

Welcome back to sharky land
Inji was it? Heard something went down
Did you see the waves breaking of Marrys cove
Looked fat but would have been a novelty to surf
Yeah, like three feet in the air off his board from what I heard. Very lucky lad.
Time to get a Rpela?

Not for him, he's had his lotto win, no point.
And I've had my two run ins, what are the chances of a third?
Besides, has there ever been a kneelo eaten?

I know one of the guys who lost a leg in an attack a few years ago, was in the water at the time and location of another almost fatal attack a couple of years later. Craziness. ![]()

Your odds of a third encounter are the same as your first. Bit of a bummer that...

That's right. Every time you enter the water, the odds are the same. It's like tossing a coin - for each coin toss the odds are 50/50.
The odds of tossing a coin and getting "tails" 3 times in a row is a different scenario. Just because you've already had "tails" twice on previous tosses, it doesn't change your future odds. The odds of the third toss are still 50/50.
Technically yes...however if the previous two 'run ins' have any significant influence on your behavior towards when and where you surf and for how long, then the probably of a third 'run in' may not strictly be an independent 'flip of the coin'.
Having said that, I always enter the water with the comfort knowing that regardless of my actions, the odds are extremely stacked in my favour. I say that as someone who works in the water as well as plays. I roll the dice daily.
