cool time of it swapping the 2 MR boards around at palmy after longboarding with mac in small but fun rainbow.

loving the balance I now have with these two boards and unless I know it going small I will probably take both with me in the car.

the puffer5 is still the board for small sh1te waves. its ability to react to a pump without catching then plane with speed that allows me to get to the top section of a waves is brilliant.

of course ted will say its the am2's

6' x 20 and I/4 x 2 1/2.

im so happy with all my boards today
puffer5 still hits the spot .

the flying fish - you can feel that bit more rocker then you drop into a wave and general everything is more direct. look sensational in the flesh too.

I could almost just stare at it

will do the job well and truly for what im going to surf.

cheers

I intend to demo as many shortboards I can get my hands on.

7 years off the pace in terms of whats out there.

I like that mr is up with the modern planning concepts and you know he has been shaping boards for ever and he is even known to surf alright himself so the boards will work.

I can vouch for the flying fish working well as a twin plus trailer.
I run mine with CI robber twins from True ames (fcs tabs) and a knubster in the back thruster plug but I'm 90 kgs plus.
Plenty of hold with the knubster. I've got an MR trailer but haven't found it necessary yet.
I'm a bit concerned because I've been drinking Nutribullet blasts (insert rolling eyes smiley here....) for lunch and its working but I don't want to have to adjust my quiver because I have it so dialled in.

Back in the day when surfboards were hand shaped and there was no Internet he was the dearest bloke in town and still every second bloke around had at least one.

His boards have always been made with a bit of class.
