Dropped it off yesterday to GC Ding Repairs in Mermaid.
Ding shop in Miami was highly recommended by a mate (and on here), but they were closed for the week - off at some comp, by the note on the door.

Anyway, quote was $60. There was a little home job repair on the nose. Old mate in the store said once they start getting the solar rez off, it could make a bigger job. Nonetheless, both repairs quoted at $100. Can't complain about that.

Just as a final note, the peeps at GC Ding repair did a great job, and went above an beyond.
I cheaped out on paying for the repairs to be colour matched - given what I paid for the board it didn't seem worth it. Although, in hindsight, paying an extra $30 or so on a $100 repair should have been a no brainer.

Anyway, for the nose repair, the sanding took out the pin stripe around the edge, and with the lovely hole I put in the board, the sanding took off a bunch of the logo off. Despite me not paying for colour matching, they took the time to repaint both the pin stripe and the logo. That work probably took longer than the repair itself!

I'd definitely use that crew again.

Cheers!

Oh well couple of tims of spray paint should fix it if it bothers you, at least the boards back in action. Thats the main thing

I really regret jamming wax in dings to get out there, can be a real bitch to remove sometimes
