Mate I was chilling on the bench (it was cold) watching quality waves get blown by two D heads

Better to be the 2 D heads in the water catching waves than the 2 D heads standing in the cold on land watching the other 2 D heads catching waves.

one surfs all the time. the other has been surfing once in the last 4 weeks. he's got a bad back from choosing which tiles to use in his house.

and we all know that takes 3 saturdays at least.

i guess it must be hard to find a floor tile with the letter M on it

Got lucky today...usually driving around checking spots results in the wind farging things up, swell dropping, crowds forming or you simply return back to the first place you looked with one or all of the above happening. But not today! I procrastinated heaps to the point of detouring to drive by my old house & admire what they'd done with the gardens. Chatted to a mate for 1/2 an hour at the last spot, watched the 4 guys surfing all come in & 10 mins later the cross shore wind backed right off. Had a couple of hours of great waves to myself until one wave sucked up heaps & I free fell onto the rail of my board hitting the same spot as last time lol Crushed the rail of my board with my thigh. Damn things sucked in water too, so I've got it in the sun drying out. Luckily my legs not as bad I first thought & it was worth it. Had consistent overhead screamers to myself

Cheers mate, it was a pretty simple plan today. Just to get a bit of a paddle, I was actually happy that a set came as I was paddling out. Wanna get a lot fitter before Bali. Havta go out with a dead leg tomorrow, I'll drop some ibuprofen & paracetamol/codein left over from the last time I hammered myself

Nah Pools are over rated I've got several km's of perfectly good ocean within a couple of blocks away I hope the boards still structurally sound. I really though I'd snapped it when I came up. Problem is the glass is only fractured, but the foam beneath has crushed in. I'm hoping I can just seal it, coz I don't want to fill it. I think it will be ok *touch wood*
