Sore thighs It took me minute to figure that one out

LOL fair enough...I don't think it's happened since I climbed up & down a ton of stairs to go white water rafting in Bali a few years ago. But yeah...4 weeks training up in Perth with only 1 surf in that time gets you pretty frothing...My mind allowed me to catch a lot of waves over 3 days & my body is still catching up [;)

Hopefully Pup is right & its cranking tomorrow coz my mind still wants more

Surfed across the pond. 4ft and getting bigger. Not so good for fun. Mother nature gave me more lessons in holding my breathshould have stayed home really. Not a good day to start making friends with my shorty

Got the Bullet back out? How'd that go for ya

Do you still ride it..I'm hoping to jump back onto mine in the next few weeks as the swell builds over this way I'm a bit worried it maybe a bit big now Ive dropped around 16 kilos since first getting it

In the pond is the broadwater. Surfed straddie and yes on the bullet. Have not surfed it for more than 2 days in a row. I want to surf it more, yet I can't stop riding the sdr beast. Mate I struggled and got smashed big time.

Fingers crossed - the readings on the buoys have already turned southerly but the size or period is yet to budge.......its early though and things can not get any worse

first surf in what feels like a very long time this morning early....lots of fun 1 to 2 footers.....perfect for the 9'3" - which was behaving like a pig in **!! Wave count was high as I shared a lovely a frame peak with 2 others. Conditions perfect. Looks like we may have really nice banks here when the swell finally arrives. Normally I would not have headed out in those conditions but I am sure glad i did.

The bommy came good this morning, big crowd, so I was happy to just have a chat and score a couple of rides.

Our circus midget friend turned up again with his tiny troupe of midgets and waited until I had a good one to make his move, with a drop in, only this time I was ready for him.

I knew he would try a drop wallet cutback at the end to try to scare me because that's about the only circus trick that the pathetic little prick can do on his pathetic little toy. So I had dropped down the bottom as he tried to spear into me and just surfed through.

I always like to emphasize with people like him, so I guess that he has good reason to be the way he is, for a start he's with a child that he wants to impress, and that's hard when you are born with short mans disease

He has a fear of aging and the aged and because he is not just going bald, he's also going grey because you can sometime see the purple tint on his scalp where he's made the mistake of leaving the black rinse in his hair for too long. So that must come as quite a significant blow to him

And finally, his vocabulary usually is limited to "F off you old coont" whenever he address myself or MR in the presence of this child he's with, so his lack of any eloquence at his age would no doubt be troubling him greatly

Perhaps that's why why he puts such effort into teaching the child to surf he has little or no other life skills of any value in normal society that he's able to pass onto the boy

You see boys and girls if you try hard enough, you can always find an excuse for anything

yep well said. I get well annoyed with people like that but thankfully there are not many around these parts. Just in from my second session and its fair to say things are definitely on the improve. Lots of 2 to 3 ft's coming in - the swell itself is still pretty weak but the banks are looks lovely......I am hoping for another session at the end of the day if the Minister of War lets me.

Still a bit too much north in it to get the point working, still waiting for the big southerly swells. But we had the same here as you Ted probably 2 - 3 but absolutely gutless.

Went out on The northern side of my local point while all the crew were on the southern side.

Oh joy, oh joy, oh joyosity 'twas a cleansing experience after yesterday's bad vibes from a washed up shortboarder, tiny waves for 1 hour, perfect for the new board, I stopped counting after a dozen.

And only one other person out there, a true gentleman on a macT longboard, (no accounting for bad taste I guess, eh Mac?)

We made a pact that if anyone on the beach was looking, neither of us would catch a wave so it would remain a secret.

I can't believe the way that new board turns, the other bloke said to me one time "nice cutback" nobody has ever complimented me on a cutback. My surfing mates tell me it's bought a new dimension to my surfing.

Oh happyosity
