small waves here..1ft - 1.5ft..took out the midlength for some simple turns
I did find my front foot though and discoverd that if it lean on it....the board goes faster...who would have thought

(Picked my new stick this morning too...just need some decent waves now)

2ft with a few bigger ones and a whole lot of cross wind chop running through it. Looks like the swell is on the up now we just need the wind to play ball.

Waves were excellent again, not quite as good as yesterday as the production line seemed to be a little slow at times....

Went to the old haunt today offshore chest high and some bigger on the sets, had someone drop in on me and I bailed before the boards met and bugger me dead leggy snapped.Surf was too much fun to go in so went without a leggie, yeh I know but conditions were on.Chrispy was the marshall out there grabbing everything and sussing people out,he had his new board nice colours and he got virtually what waves he wanted. He and the board seem to bond.

Super tiny again...went out at the top of the tide & surfed thigh high bombs. Should have been fishing, there were some huge fish splashing around.

Yeah one of the girls reckoned she saw a reef shark. I wasn't too worried coz it was so small we were pretty much sitting on the reef right over by that new sand bar. That bloody seal was hanging around a lot too...there was seriously a lot of fish around of all varieties & sizes this arvo. Probably get a good feed of fish if you threw a line in a few feet offshore, they're all hanging around on that corner

5 hour session this afternoon , 1 hour presso bay , 1 and 1/2 hour midpoint , 2 and 1/2 hours penguin reef , man am I going to be stiff and sore tomorrow

Last week of daylight saving so making the most of it , and loving the warm water , even though my surfing buddy suffered a bit of hypothermia after our last surf ( always pays to chuck a wetty in the car )

3-4 with a light offshore. Still a bit of a bump in the swell but a ripper of a morning. Off out for my next now now.

peaky and short 3ft got some good drops and short rides..fun hour that ended as we the few that were out got out due to some "unwanted" marine company that was to big for comfort.

Yep surfed with all good intentions to surf a spot however the sweep had other ideas, a hell of a lot of paddling two waves and did the walk a round twice total wave count a poor 4,not a great morning.

How wrong can surf reports be. We had lines of three to four foot coming through with a beautiful offshore wind lightly licking the wave face......except they were 500 metre close outs in knee deep water.

I happily watched the weekend warriors attempt the paddle out and others do the walk of shame when they gave up paddling out,all with the enjoyment of my bacon and egg roll in hand it was easy to say no after the pig I have been all week..

Hats off to the Chinese popout longboarder who seemed to love the beatings he recieved, free fall and sand enemas did not stop him
