No surgery, apparently the MRI showed all the mechanics are in order, just time and rehab. I'm paying the price now for 3 sessions over 2 days but the doc did say to just try to get back into normal things and work through the pain, he said it might actually help.
Funny though, ribs are sore from not being used to laying prone and paddling. Anyway I'll take it slowly but good to be back.

There was a guy out there riding a foil board as well. Looked like a short fat egg shape with the big foil underneath. He looked like he was struggling.

I agree. The guy looked like he was having a bit of trouble controlling it and I could imagine the damage caused after being hit by one. As if 666's aren't bad enough out there

It's been going on up here for a while, I don't have a issue with them other than they should be under the same rules as power boats, 200 meter rule.

Lol....just like all the pros on the goldcoast ignoring all the ski rules because their next ig clip is more important than the safety or fairness to others?

I think pup might be right, the goldcoast is all image and ****ery without any respect for anyone. It is a place filled by the fake and selfish. I have stuck up for this place since I have lived here, but truly the name should be changed to foolsgold coast . Where image is more important than substance in and out of the water

Imagine towing in at bells on a 6ft wave? I would imagine there would be blood spilled

Maybe so Lacey but could you imagine a line up with 3 or 4 foil guys out, they will cut you in half.

12 foot board plus say 10 foot leg rope now thats a massive length and could kill people in a crowded line up.
I was talking to Ben Mc and ask him what conditions do you think these trim boards are suited. His answer was
anywhere away from others in knee high waves. Its all about the trim.

Talking the a ex SB guy who said he was worried about the amount of people getting in to these boards, he owns a few.

Just back from some pretty good waves at a local reef break. Its a left that runs down the side of an island. Al will know where it is. Overhead sets and a bit tricky on the 11 footer with side wash and wind but got a couple of good ones. Buggered now but in a good way

No worries with the takeoffs Al . An 11 footer gets you in early . There was some nice long clean walls running down the inside . Heaps of fun .

Nice work smh. Another belly biard question. How does your back hold up on it,as your back would be heavily arched whike paddling?
