So looks like the next 10 days at least is more of the same for you Gold Coasters - no cyclone swells yet and none in the immediate future.......annoying I am sure. Hang in there - I am sure you will get a couple eventually. Seabreeze's view on things is far from positive as well
My only day off and it's blowing south east and nothing on offer. Will wait in the hope the wind drops off later or I'll just paddle the river. 
Got a few knee high waves in knee high deep water over the reef after work on the 666...looking like my first windsurf of the year tomorrow

pathetic ankle high beachies, the 2 best things about surf like this.
1/ you can walk out to the lineup
2/ when a useless 1 foot wave finally comes through, everyone pretends it's a big set at Wiamea and starts hooting, then we load the wave and start pushing each other around.
I usually fall off because I'm laughing so much.

So the missus and I went for a swim at the local ocean pool,then breaky by the beach,water is great,beautiful morning
No surf for me but watched another great game of cricket - 6 foot and offshore in Hamilton

yeah the early crew can have it ....I go out later ....the second mouse got the cheese...!
a dolphin cruised through the line up ....I did the dead ant until it was ID ....

I had a look at the Rainbow Bay cam this morning at 0630 WA time. It looked heaps fun for a LB with not many out between GM & the next section after Snapper....still flat today here with forecast for flat & onshore tomorrow. Looks good for newby windsurfing though
Cranking here 6-8ft right hand barrels going for about 30mtrs and 6 others in the water
Plenty of rain here and a strong south east wind. Good to see the rain but the surf isn't looking too good.
