Beautiful here today. Swell definitely on the rise and the incoming tide has some good push to it. No complaints what so ever. Heaven.

Nice waves this morning 3 foot 10 guys out..wind was light and just a few degrees from a true offshore which made for some nice sections...all good until some cook bailed his board in front of me and put a nice big ding in my 7'6.....I stil came in smiling though

Nice one Tux, damn hard for me when that happens. I often lose my sh1t at people & sometimes feel bad about it later. But then sometimes people need to be told when they've done something silly like persisting along with a wave that has clearly closed out, they're riding the whitewater, only three people in the water & they bail their LB right in front of you like my mate did a few months back & dinged my board. Not cool at all...sometimes the situation is understandable like the one that destroyed my clearwater whalebone & sometimes people just need to be told...a friend came in complaining that another friend had got pissed at her accidently dropping in on him & I had to explain to her that he's actually a really easy going guy usually & she had to have really done the wrong thing to have pissed him off. I said just take it as a part of learning & try not to do it again...

....but then, hang'on you don't mention if you just came in smiling coz you let it go, gave him a good verbal or physical beating or just had such a great surf that nothing could bring you down...I'm guessing the later, great time to be on the great ocean road

But anyway, nothing to report here...back to near zilcharama. Had a bit of a long paddle down to the next beach & caught a few 0.1 to 0.2 footers. Would be perfect for a newby wind surf now, but feeling a bit thirsty

Surfed a lovely playful right by myself this morning at 3ft with a few Bigger ones. Just in from a hollow hollow left that did not seem to mind the increasing wind too much. Nice way to spend my lunch break. 5 of us had a ball out there. Tide running out super fast but will try for a third session once I get some energy back. The last few days have been unreal.

In desperation I had an onshore bash planned. Having grown up in Geraldton me and onshore bashes have no problem catching up like old school friends reliving glory days.

Then She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed said I had the kids this arvo.

Maybe I can trust the three year old on the beach by himself...

Sorry fellas. Not taken any pics myself yet. Will see if can grab a couple from the boys and post them. Nice 2-3 foot fun right gander this morning. Not epic but loads of fun to play in. Wind up now and dropping swell - not ideal conditions for the arvo. Might have to drink some beer and play backgammon.

Big rain storm came in and glasses up the whole bay - out there. Sadly a few others saw the opportunity as well but some fun times. Rose the Evo as a thruster -- think it suits me better. Tux's board all fixed and in the rack waiting some more juice.

All good thanks Pup. Had a third surf this evening - second day in a row of three surfs - good to be back I took the 10ft log Ted shape out at a long long left on the low tide. Normally it would be sketchy but swell direction was hitting perfectly. Had the best long board session ever. Got some nice hang five ride time. No turns just straight up the middle. Even got a few bigger ones and was so surprised how it handled it. Stoked beyond belief. I knew that wave would be epic for the 10 footer in the right conditions and it is !! Was a huge effort to get it over here but after today it was well worth it. Similar swell conditions Tom so more of the same perhaps. Got to hand it to Mac. He generously gave me a big monster fin for that board and it works a treat Thanks legend.
