well i pulled into the carpark and watched the most beautiful set go through. got out out and saw some crew and watched another set roll by......people were muttering something to me.
got ouy and it was rubbish. water was too deep and it was not happening....some big arse bait schools going by and a few big king fish{i could be wrong on the kingy's} they were big.
water was a bit fresh but good to be back in the springy.

Had my first decent surf back from injury on wednesday after 6 months out of the water,even bought a sup to get some paddle fitness in before hand ,gave me a new found respect for sup riders,small glassy peelers only knee high but perfect for the log and it felt sooooo good to paddle into a few-happy days again Near flat today but perfect weather so went for an afternoon sup paddle then a cold coopers pale ale in the sun,great way to finish the working week,now I'm just hoping Manly can beat Broncos tomorrow night at Gosford Stadium-icing on the cake

Surprised to wake and find it super clean,yesterday I was thinking oh no,no waves this weekend with the wind,but an hour after we finished the wind stuffed it so I guess we lucked in.
Just got back from similar conditions to yesterday . Waist high peaks with fun walls and only 10 or so others out there . Water pretty cool though . No sharks

I struggled with the idea of riding log today at snaps.
Been really enjoying the shortie and the log felt like a log.
But I guess this rooms not the place to bitch about it
