Had it all to myself, beautiful clean warm conditions with a surfable wave every 10 mins. Was pretty happy with it coz my energy levels were pretty low after the weekend anyway...now enjoying a few Steamrail Pale Ales

Yeah I knew Sun would be a bit of an alright, but I was shattered after Sat. Works been crazy busy the last few weeks. Pretty happy to be just cruising the last couple of weeks. Have had the SB & LB out a few times, but mostly surfing the 666. Some days I just wouldn't have the energy to surf anything else...I need a holiday, 5 weeks to go

4-5ft rights with a couple bigger sets thrown in and not too busy. Heaven, best waves I have seen in a while. Great way to start the new adventure. Some unreal barrel riders over here! Just heading back out for another session.

Christened the AB 7' 6 channel this morning at Tea tree on the dropping tide. Sweet first wave and the bottom turn felt gooood!
Had some fun waves and went in for a rest and a bite to eat.
Too bad there's so many backpackers vans over-nighting at the National park carpark lately and staying for days on end.
Just makes it that much harder to score a park than normal.
Had a second surf on the MR flying fish on low tide but the sweep was a freight train by then.
Hopefully it will pick up more tonight.

a photo of one wave can make things look great. was some massive backwash at times and the waves were very lumpy. probably did get better after I left as the wind was smoothing things out...a wee bit. days like this you do realise how good a surfer im not anymore lol. some of those pros and groms were just making waves look ****ing magic

Almost forgot how good it is over here. Had more good waves in the last 3 days than the last 4 months at home. Knackered. And it's not even been that good by Indo standards and we have a kick in the swell tom. Fitness is coming back with 2.5-3hr sessions now the norm. Stoked. Might also have something to do with travelling with the lady - bitang volumes are right down! Macs driver Roger has been great as always. Highly recommend him if you over this way. Hope you all getting some.
