Make your own wax. Sure, it's not as pretty or smelly as a store bought one, but it's easy. Google it. Go to your local beekeeper and get some wax, and add some Coconut oil. Melt it down in a double boiler, pour it into a mould and let it set. Easy. While you're at it, you can make beeswax food wraps and candles......

Who you callin' a hippy..... you're the one with the long hair and the 60s Holden wagon.... I've only got short hair, a waxed moustache and a kombi...... wait, what?

I get my wax for free, from my own bees.... does that still make me a hippy?

Ah Vanders, you know earwax is only good for making jelly beans..... Beeswax is the beesknees for everything.... well, except lube....., but I think you've already experienced that right?

I've been thinking Mac, perhaps we've got it all wrong. I'm going to investigate making Hawaiian shirt style rashies, springys and steamers.... surely looking like the rough end of a pineapple is going to deter sharkies much more than dressing up as a young seal pup.... right?

Sex wax or Mrs Palmers, Cold after a Warm base. I like Cream too but since a local surf shop closed down its not available locally.

What I don't like is FarKing, absolute sh1t wax, recommend not buying that one.

TBH - I have surfed for 25 years and never really looked at what brand i have in the bottom of the bucket.

Board wax has been a regular Christmas or Birthday gift from the kids when they were young. I have only had to start buying it in the last few years.

I do check to see if it is for cold, warm or tropical temps and use it for either base coat or top coat.

I think I have tried the Cream and wasn't a fan - it just got over everything, boardies, car, hairy legs etc. But it may have been another brand.

There is a sex wax cream. That sounds like what you used. Gets everywhere. Super soft.

The other one doesn't really melt and isn't soft.

Beat me to it sp

Yep sexwax bought out a version called cream and was designed/gimmic marketing at the time for all the aerial surfing lol ... However i will say it did live up to it claims of being incredibly ****ing sticky

Nothing like the wonderful beauty of robbie pages cream wax ....lacey it smells like the original hubba bubba bubblegum.. also if it does get hot in a boardbag or in the sun it does not go all weird melted?

Nice work with the bees Michaelir,i am fascinated by them and just starting to learn more about them
