Day after day after day of good surf at town beach the last fortnight or so
........Haven't seen much of towball......apparently he is working really really hard and has no time for surfing as he is saving up money to spend 3 days surfing in hawaii

Just noticed on Insty that Ted the Kiwi was out drinking frothy schooners beside a sunlit harbour yesterday (I think). Hope that means he has all his appendages, or at least a top class prosthetic.

Care to share your Insta account?

I'm theaquaticflaneur but I'm only on Insta on my old laptop, which won't download the app that let's you post. I mainly set up the account to look at some of the stuff that was talked about in the Instagram thread here in the greenroom. I may try to get my act together on our old ipad so i can post some blurry pics of sideshore beachbreaks (my specialty) and maybe my dog (who probably understands Insta better than I do).

But the main thing is - Ted's alive!

Town beach was kind of like Hawaii today........was two foot.......except for every 15 or 20 minutes when the big sets came.
Probably the main difference (apart from the water temperature).......was that I was the only person out
Thought it was going to be tiny so only took my Paddle Surf Hawaii 12'6 to the beach......but probably a good board choice as waves were big and fast

Tomorrow I will wear a 4/3 winter suit so i am really warm.......and play Hawaiian music on my waterproof mp3 player
.......heaps cheaper than going to Hawaii
