For a moment after reading ^^^^...I thought I could be in danger....


Then I read who posted it.....realised it was chrispychru and new I was safe................. as he won't show up.

My Nine year old daughter at nippers just down the road from there and about a month ago was hit on the head by a stray nipper board and none of the water safety noticed. They all get sent out in a pack and as a few waves come through a fair few lose their boards. My daughter copped one in the head. Luckily she only had a sore head and swam in.

Anyway, the next week I asked her if she wanted me to swim out with her and of course she did. As I started to go out with her one of the water safety dudes told me it slsa policy that parents are not to be in the water with the kids.

I explained the situation from the last week and I was still refused. "She won't drown, were watching them, and if a slsa official sees you in there the club gets a fine."
Any way this almost went full argumentative. I hadn't thought to mention Saxon Bird or the other young guy from a few years before that.My daughter was hesitant and needles to say I watched like a hawk.

Fair to say I think slsa need to take a look at themselves.
