I second that,sure I've been guilty of sharing my new boards on this site and the odd gem I mite see at the factory,happy to reframe as it appears to upset the odd one or two from time time.I always celebrate others new boards no matter what the makers label reads,I believe its adds to the frother who just purchased it,as the others have said encourage don't discourage.

What's going on with red thumbing Macaha? I'm getting a sore finger from green thumbing every time he posts to try and rebalance! Although I haven't met him he has given me good advice re boards, and hey if he's passionate about McTavish boards that's no crime as far as I can see. Now of course I'll be red thumbed.

Mac initiating this thread is a reflection of the true spirit of most of the core group in here. They are a welcoming inclusive bunch. IMO, there are also a couple of aggro people who far too often like to use a sledgehammer to crack a nut, and there is at least one weirdo stalker who follows peeps around and red thumbs even the most positive posts...
But most are surfers sharing the stoke and I hope Beastsurf hangs around. His "about me" philosophy on his profile is gold:

I usually don't bother to post here as it does seem to be a boys club with a fair bit of bitcthn. However there are some great threads which I read regularly.
the board porn,more longboarding,toes on the nose, stories of surf adventures e.g. Mickpc's post on his trip to Bali,and those that are generally surf related.
Due to injury and the ravages of time I have moved from long boarding to 666, but there is nothing like the style and grace of a longboard ridden well.
More pics, more video, and more stories please
