Hi, I've been a bit of a lurker here for a while, so thought now would be a great time to introduce myself and ask a question.

I've bought a Takayama noserider (i got it for a price to cheap to pass up on). I've just got a couple questions about it and was interested to know if anyone could help me out.

There are no dims on the board or model type - Is that normal? I've taken it to a local shaper who has measured it up and dims are 10'6 x 23 1/2 x 19 7/8 x 14 5/8 x 3 1/2 its a beast - Secondly, I'm not sure what model it is, can anyone help shed some light on that?

I'm sure it'll ride great anyway and looking forward to getting out there on it!

It's reckon it's a nose rider model.
Maybe model T but just looks a bit different

I reckon it is
www.surfboardsbydonaldtakayama.com/surfboards/dt-classics/classic-noserider/

Or maybe the NR2 with that colour.

Enjoy.. Great looking board..

Edit. This is a better link

We don't normally give advice out to newby's anymore after being burnt previously but because you are a K1W1 it will be fine

I have nothing to add though - SP and Mac know their stuff though so you in good hands. Surfbroker has probably owned one, McH is probably thinking about one and with those dims Pup could probably use his oar on it

Yeah when I first looked I was going to ask too SM - it's the glass screen edge shadow

Definitely the noserider - the DT4 is more pulled in & tail far different

Nice score

Well spotted Pup. It looked like a repair. I don't think I'd ever buy a board that's been snapped. Especially a longboard.

Thanks for the info! hasn't been broken is just a reflection from the glass panes. The board hardly looks like its been used. The guy I bought it off bought it to learn on used it once and thought surfing was to hard so it'd been in storage for about three years. he had bought it second hand and knew nothing about it.

I thought it was either the NR2 or a Classic Noserider.

I don't think it is . Mod t has always had logos and those dims are a bit narrow for a Mod T. .

It is a a variation or version of the Noserider. Which really is just a variation on the Model T...

Could be NR2. But the Noserider sticker is a good as indication as any to what model it is. Each model has a different sticker

Which Logo???

Mine has Model T logos on the top and bottom..

And also Takayama one

It could be anything. They are all close and it may even pre-date the Model T Logo.

But i am sticking with my first thought which is the Noserider sticker is the model type.

I'm talking about the green board that Surfbroker put up. Look at the logo on the deck of the green board and logo on the deck of the board that Chrispthe kiwi put up in the link. Thats why I reckon the green board is a Model T . I'm sure the red board is an NR2.
