No scotty after seeing my brother inlaw year after year living that life, you only take one game at a time.
Q do i think we can win.
A. Yes and no
#1 NO...so manny good teams playing this year only have to see how tight the ladder is, and the team on the top, the great the fabulous the flamboyant the mighty Manly...are only one game in front of us hacks.

#2 yes...if we play like our last game.

you can star all year and go cold in the finals. or struggle in the eight and peak in the finals.

but one thing scotty..someone will win,and we have to get there yet looooogway to go.

but fark that was good smashing them last night when they said they would smash our forwards Hahah
it was like playing children..only one better feeling scotty,, flogging chooks.

Weiry,
I don't believe the ladder is tight due to good, close competition.
I think it's more about teams lacking consistency.
Yes, we are are coming 2nd on the ladder but we have lost 7 games out of 20 played which is poor form in my books.

I said before a ball was kicked this season that Souths are lacking what it takes to win a GF.
Apart from round 1 vs Chooks, my thoughts on this hadn't changed until last nights game.
I always said we lacked quality halves and good outside backs (I think we have this covered now)
Losing Matai was a blow to Manly.
We are no longer under the radar and teams in coming weeks will be prepared.

Once bitten, twice shy.
Twice bitten, it can't happen again.
BRING IT ON

your spot on about souths. but being on top of the ladder all year means jack sh!t. i love the new guys in our team. don't know about the 7 game theory, some coach's say win over half your games in the year and your playing in late september. AKA WB
still to early. so many teams haven't hit their straps ,waiting on cowboys easts and storm yet.it would surprise me if storm don't show serious premiership form soon.

Scotty but one thing i truly believe, the session is way to long. it was like at the beginning of the year.some said souths are playing like **** they are gone.wow look at the gold coast and the dragons.
i would also like to see…. two or three more teams in the comp then every team plays each other once, about 17 games and full byes on Origin game weeks.
it would be fair to every team. and reduce they year by about 6 games.

Sorry the delay in responding - have spent the day doing what I like best - its been pumping here. Well played Souths. Lets see if they can keep it up. One game does not make a season. I agree with you Scotty.

The ref was right in front of this Scotty and missed it,if found guilty 12 weeks I'd give him.But as he is a Manly player he is likely to get 4

Looking at the photo closely in the Telegraph, I don't believe the gouge is intentional.
The weight of Tyrell is coming down on the palm of Starling which makes your fingers naturally curve (try it yourself). Unfortunately, 2 fingers appear to stick into his eye. I'm sure Belanto SC will argue this better then me. It will be argued as a misfortunate accident. If Tyrell doesn't have an injury to his eye and Startling has a clean record, he'll get off.

Re: Josh Starling.
Starling was put on report by the on-field referees for the tackle on Rabbitohs half Luke Keary, while the contact against Tyrell was picked up by the Match Review Committee.
If he takes the early guilty plea for both charges, Starling will only miss this Sunday's match against the Titans on the Gold Coast.
If he decides to accept the early plea for one but fight the other and wins, he will be free to play.

Souths starting to show some consistent good form chaps. Good to see - but they should have been doing it all year !! Still you need to be doing it at the end of the season to win. Lets see if they can hold it together. 13 plus is the easy winner again - thanks for the spending money
