Ok ok I'll try to comprehend with my lack of ability. It's my home work tomorrow couldn't be ****d now.
truly mick ,surly they can make a video in 3 min ,why the **** do they make 30 min/1hour videos to make a point.it's like Listening to Himalayan chant Music. Maybe it's made to imbed The message into the weak minds of society.

Cobro said, "Maybe it's made to imbed The message into the weak minds of society."

Possibly m8, thats why its important to think critically about all information available.

I found this video progressively more interesting as it went along, I listened to it on my way back this arvo from the city. Note I did not say you would not comprehend the contents due to ability to comprehend information but due to seeing the content as being from an adversary & not worth a watch or listen (team a vs b). That was pretty much the point of the post. To say I don't consider people with different points of view stupid, I just consider them as people with different points of view. This video covers the current situation of how people feel towards Covid 19 very well IMO, in respect to how they filter the information they receive.

With fresh outbreaks in Vic and NSW and our border just opened I think we are in for another lockdown here, so many NSW's people out and about the roads and everything else are busy. Hope I'm wrong also all the Bali expats have been told to go home because they can't GT to Singapore to renew their visas and so many of them own businesses I'm not sure what's going to happen there?

Unless you have a special visa, your not going to be returning anytime soon I don't think. But if your biz relys on tourism & not Indo tourism your gonna be struggling anyway. Everyones being kicked out.

From Baliwaves

"Bali Corona Virus situation, well the situation for many will be starting to change as of tomorrow the 13th. With the Immigration office declaring the end of the emergency visas. This will coincide with the start of Indonesia's "New era" and also with the Australian Gov now charging Australian citizens that are re repatriating for their 14 day quarantine at a 5 star price. Apparently there are still 1000's of Aussies here on the emergency stay visa that will now have to return to Australia. Likewise with all the young Europeans that have been here all through the pandemic will also be asked to return back to their home countries of residence. I'm sure there will be exceptions for those who can't get a flight, but anyone abusing the orders will be fined US$100.00 per day over stay fee.Nationally in the last 24hrs Indonesia has seen 1,671 new positive cases with 66 more deaths. Here in Bali the numbers have settled down from a high number of 85 on Saturday down to 37 new positive cases today, Bali's death toll from the Corona Virus is now at 27. But seeing as though it is Sunday so the numbers might jump again early next week. Fingers crossed that they do not and we can really start to get back to some normality. No new Visas are being issued but anyone still holding a Kitas or Kitap visa are allowed to fly into Indonesia. But with lots of paper work involved and maybe even some quarantine time, you would need to check that out with your airline and the department of Immigration for more accurate information."

Queensland has seen what can happen to the economy in a covid shutdown
Queenslanders know what it feels like in iso
everything is back to normal now SO why is the Queensland government leaving our borders open.
im not even talking about catching covid I'm talking about a second hit to queenslanders lifestyle and incomes with another shutdown.
sorry am i missing something here

Second lockdown here, despite the propaganda being put out by Chairman Dan, looks to be largely being ignored.
Schoolkids on extra week of holidays everywhere, people who haven't been to the beach before in their lives crowding out foreshore carparks and queuing for fish and chips like they were lining up to get in to a Sydney pub.
Lucky the weather is generally Melbourne crap and I can hide away in my loft at work playing with projects.
If I was QLD I would be keeping borders closed and getting locals out and using pubs and restaurants etc.
Look after yourselves first and foremost.

You'd know as much as me, if not more m8. From what I've heard if you don't have a visa that allows you to remain in Indo you are required to leave as soon as a plane is available for you to go. But they do say if you remain you pay $100 a day, so I guess if you can afford $100 extra per day you can stay. Just wondering how they will determine if someone has taken adequate action in order to return home.

I'm not sure what you mean m8, could you please clarify which of the following might be correct;

A DR claimed people to be positive for financial benefit. As in a monetry claim.
OR
A DR claimed people tested positive were negative for some bizzare reason. As in, reported to be, type claim.
