It's stupid to put more pressure on small towns.
Stay home means, stay home.. Saw some small towns down south have been refusing to serve out of town holiday makers.
Check the date too mate ![]()

I have 4 dry days every fortnight unless I'm on holiday...4 x 16 hr nightshifts Sat-Wed & I just finished them. Missus always expects a drunken Mick every 2nd Wed when she gets home & after last night it comes with a 100% guarantee ![]()
So how many cartons have you in stock?
Currently 5.5 cartons of Coopers, 3 cases of Kiwi SB, 30 litres of Shiraz that should be finished brewing in about 8 weeks, 1/2 carton guiness, 6 pack of Mercury Apple Cider & an assortment of spirits.

Glad I don't drink beer! I know...how un-Australian. Maybe 1st of April is a bad day to start drinking it.

Well I'm in lockdown.
Not because of a government directive.
Not because I have traveled.
Not because of any symptoms.
Not because of the police.
Not because of the army.
But because I wanted to hit the waves this morning, in a remote location, with little to no chance of contact with anyone. Because I wanted to go and exercise this morning the misses went bat crap crazy at me and hid my car keys.
In WA it is still ok to travel within your region. To go to the beach as long as you practice safe distancing. To surf as long as you act responsibly. And as long as you travel from A to B directly with the purpose of exercise this is permitted.
But not by my wife
who seems to think she is smarter than the government.
Rant over. This whole confinement thing is fraying nerves.
I would hate to think what the fall out will be for relationships that are already rocky, let alone for those in abusive situations.
So how are things fairing in your households?
Are you encountering symptoms of phobias that are unwarranted?
We all need to make compromises and show consideration to others, but where is the line between imposing of one will over another's rights?
Testing times where cracks begin to show.
my relasionship is complicated at best ATM
well if this was called a war or battle my wife is on the front line.
Im very proud and worried for her just yesterday she had to spacesuit up.
she fears for me more than herself. she is my hero.
After all this is over, would anyone honestly go on a cruise ship?..those things are floating bio hazards

Uno scoreboard:
Dad: 11 wins
Mum: 3 wins
Son: 6 wins
Daughter: 2 wins.
Wife not happy with me...I should let her win a few (nudge, nudge, wink, wink).
In breaking news:
The American Medical Association has weighed in on Trump's Corona strategy: The Allergists were in favor of scratching it, but the Dermatologists advised not to make any rash moves. The Gastroenterologists had sort of a gut feeling about it, but the Neurologists thought the Administration had a lot of nerve. Meanwhile, Obstetricians felt certain everyone was laboring under a misconception, while the Ophthalmologists considered the idea shortsighted. Pathologists yelled, "Over my dead body!" while the Pediatricians said, "Oh, grow up!" The Psychiatrists thought the whole idea was madness, while the Radiologists could see right through it. Surgeons mistakenly thought they had the whole thing sewn up and the Internists claimed it would indeed be a bitter pill to swallow. The Plastic Surgeons opined that this proposal would "put a whole new face on the matter." The Podiatrists thought it was a step forward, but the Urologists were pissed off at the whole idea. Anesthesiologists thought the whole idea was a gas, and those lofty Cardiologists didn't have the heart to say no. In the end, the Proctologists won out, leaving the entire decision up to the assholes in Washington
Well. Ill be drying up on the work front from now on .
Which is the expected for the building industry as current work finishes and nothing new is going to start.
Time to see what scomo is offering![]()
I've never seen so many people training in my local park, its normally a popular morning and afternoon walk with or without the hound in toe.Today they are doing family training boot camps and all sorts of crazy sh-t,life is good on my e-bike ![]()
Been thinking about ways I can get out and about with minimal or no contact.
Surf wise - There are a couple of stretches of beach where I know I can park the car away from the public, run down a hardly used path, go for a paddle for a bit, get back in the car and head home - still thinking about if it is an option, I generally surf on my own and short sessions at dawn so in a way I am already tuned into isolation surfing.. avoid car parks, no hanging around afterwards and keep it short and sharp.
Went for a bike ride last night, I generally cruise slow on the footpath but it was a bit crowded on the footpath so was on the road a bit. Got a good sweat up as I could go a bit quicker on the road. Cabin fever had started to take hold so my wife was more than obliging to get me out of the house for 30 min.

Generous terms at the moment.
We all get to pay it back over the next 10years![]()
But seriously sad seeing so many with no work. Hopefully the bounce back is quick once we can back to some normalcy but going to take many years to recover economically. Hopefully the social fallout is minimal if unemployment drops quickly and business are still running, hate to see it get to the point where people are defaulting on loans and struggling to find work.

Funny thing is mate some will come out of this better then they were - we have 2 casual staff and they couldn't believe their luck when we told them how much they would be earning .
But still think it is a good thing I know of one bloke who been working at the same place for 30 years - was put off about 2 weeks ago due to downturn in work - put back on when Scomo announced the $750 / week deal .Reckon there would be plenty more in the same boat .

Good luck driving to the beach. cops are starting to fine people for non essential travel. And apparently traveling to the beach to exercise (surf) is now deemed non essential.
Ran the numbers, in WA you have a 1 in 5000 chance of bumping into a Covid case, and if you practice safe distancing and good hygiene you have a net zero chance of picking it up.
I get the need to enforce behavioral changes to stop the spread, but seriously fining people $1000 for a trip to the beach?
Have to keep telling myself to suck it up, just suck it up boy.
